Knitwear Designer

We are seeking a talented Designer to join our client's knitwear team, focusing on their women's collections (knits, jersey & sweats). Based in Amsterdam, this dynamic brand creates both men's and women's lines that inspire fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

• Design innovative knitwear (flat & circular knit) for women's collections, emphasizing quality and detail
• Research and identify opportunities in yarns, fabrics, fits, and washes
• Collaborate closely with the Merchandise team to translate briefs and market needs into successful designs
• Stay ahead of trends, ensuring designs are both contemporary and sustainable
• Prepare and present design sketches for internal reviews and product launches
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely development and execution
• Maintain clear communication across teams to optimize processes and meet deadlines.

In this role, you report directly to the Design Director and you work closely with the Knitwear designers Men, and the Graphic Teams

• 5-8 years of experience as a flat & circular knitwear designer, ideally with a Fashion Brand
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and ideally 3D Design Software
• Strong passion for Fashion, with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with both flat-knit and circular-knit is essential
